Well I woke up this morning and it was blue skies and sunny. So I loaded up the tiderunner and headed out . The last few times out to this lake the dock was covered under water so it made for a tuff launch . Got on the lake at 10:30 Am headed north east of a point and set my rig out marked a few fish at 20' down so 17' I sent my set up with in 5min fish on ! I boated this nice 17inch cutt . I did a few figure 8's in that area and nothing , the wind started picking up headed north to some last point on NW side this time sent my set up at 10' trolled for 1hr and nothing . Then I was pilling my gear out to call it a day and I felt a tug " FISH ON " I had it like 15ft away and it spit the hook !

water temp at 10:30 am was 44deg. by 2pm it was 47.8 I was trolling at 1.3 - 1.5 mph

Nice cutt snake! Way to get after them. It will only get better from here on out.
Jbball50, an easy way to differentiate a rainbow from a cutt is to check the jaw. Bows don't have their jaw extend past the eye, cutts have huge mouths in comparison.
