Bait Used: Shrimp

Method:
• Anchored just below net pen cable in about 50’ of water and casted towards shoreline and allowed jig to drift downstream behind boat in deeper water…and whamo!
• The Rapala was flat lined 150’ behind boat trolling up towards pens.

Depth/Speed: Drifted jig in 20-40’ of water
Trolled with wind (upstream) with hardly any current flow.

Catch Record: # 3.2 Triploid (Jig)
# 1.5 Native Rainbow (Rapala)

Looks like you did good for those kind of conditions.I get blown off the water all to often in the spring. Thanks for the report & picture.

Hey AFK...Spring time can definitely be tricky over there...I especially love it when the flow gets cut , then the wind blows upriver! I will use my kicker or drift sock to keep tension on the anchor line.
