Hit Kapow Sat and Sun. The bass bite shut down,it was pretty hot days prior.
Motored out and worked at depths of 10-20ft in search of crappie. Not a single crappie but did manage to catch several perch. We used Roadrunner Jigs and a few other unknown brands,
put some "Bass Hammer" scent on 'em to make the meal a little more enticing. The whole family was catching perch, really a great time for us. The winds would pick up but were managable, however, large logs were drifting all over,so use caution as always.
The panfish and bass bite will be heating up soon.

Hey Dustin, sorry I left that out. The majority of the perch was around 6-8 inches but a few bigger ones but I didn't get exact size.
I was using jigs but in years past,we would drop a worm to the bottom, then reel up a foot or 2. I'm sure this method will work just as well as jigs. Another good sign, billions of krill are around the lake.
