4/2/2010 12:46:00 PMnice job, what was the size of the LB and how fast were you fishing the lizard? I went to Newman a couple of weeks ago and got skunked big time.

4/2/2010 4:21:00 PMI was at Newman two weeks ago and the water temp was the same, I didnt catch anything that day so your doing better than I did. Congrats on getting the skunk off, I caught my first bass of the year last weekend at Downs.

4/3/2010 12:00:00 PMIt was probably about a 3 pounder. Not huge but good enough eh? I was kind of varying how fast. i use a weighted hook but its not really heavy so it takes a few seconds to sink. I was varying the speed and I'd do a pause and retreive also. I caught this one I think on pause/retrieve. I used a blade dancer all morning on the NE side of the lake with no luck. I think I just got lucky finding this one. I got it within 5 minutes of using the trusty lizard. But I tried for another 1/2 hour before I was blown off the lake with no other luck... :)
