I only managed to catch a dink smallie. I caught it on jig head with firetiger minnow draggin on bottom. Threw all the usual stuff. Water was 56. There were other boats on water didn't talk to any one though.

I saw something swim up to my boat in about six feet of water, but couldn't tell what it was. It was about twenty pounds, but didn't have musky colors. It spooked fast, maybe a big bow.

Years ago we moved on Lake Tapps. I was on a bridge looking down and saw a fish surface about 5 feet long. Later I found out they were Carp. They get man sized in there. You can catch them for fun. They'll eat just about anything and night time is the best time to catch them. Years later I saw some kids holding pitch forks where they fill the lake. One kid "forked" a huge carp and the fish swam away with the ptich fork sticking out of his back about 3 feet above the water. People don't believe it until they see one for themselves.

Fished out at Tapps a lot last year and saw lots of carp. Many people on the lake get them mixed up with the muskies. I keep a recurve bow in my rod locker set up for bow fishing when the bass fishin' is slow. It's a real hoot to get one on a bow! They can pull a boat around fairly easily if they are big enough.
