Fished lost lake in kittitas county. Got on the water about 7:20. Got one rainbow right of the bat. It was a hard fighter that was about 16 inches. While we were trolling the south side. Something hit the rod. It bent it down half way and snapped off my 6 pound line. So it had to be big. Caught the first one on a muddler minnow and the second hit was on a black wooley bugger. Was fishing way down about 20 feet. The visibility is about 15-20 feet. There is a cove on the end of the south side. It is protected from the wind and is right where a creek run outs. We saw one fish on the bottom, didn't see any rises though. It is about 120 feet about 30 feet from shore on one side. it gets to about 160 feet deep in the middle. In the cove there are hundreds of thousands of tadpoles. There are also small parr in about 2 feet of water. The bad thing about this lake is the wind picks up about at noon. Makes it impossible to get around the lake with a trolling motor.
