Interesting day to say the least. When to Heart, got the boat in the water at 10am, push off, got the electric motor in the water and looked down to see water in the boat. Wonderful....... found crack in the bow of the jon boat. pulled it out, went and got some WaterWet JB weld and plug it up. back and fishing at 11:30. Immediately, hit 2 fish with hare's ear. then switched to a black bugger and then bang, good action the rest of the day. landed a dozen and play as many. nice fish 13-15". finished at 3pm when the wind came up. Bait guys on shore had some bigger ones. Typically, some the the crowd don't follow our fishing laws, one group of 4 fished bait, caught fish for people not actually fishing, threw fish back and caught over their limit. Of course they used there trucks to shield what they were doing. oh well, such a great little lake...
