Launched at daylight in hope of catchin' some bass, we threw everything, spinnerbaits, crankbaits, rapalas, jigs in all sizes and colors and not 1 hit. Had one follow a black spinnerbait and caught one rockbass. So after 3 hours of that we headed down to the south end and just nailed em. Ford Fender with a worm and within 1 min the 1st big one and then another and another until we had our limit. Didn't catch the smaller ones until the end, the biggest was 18". What made it even better we both were using ultralight gear with 4lb test, what a blast. My buddy beat me out on the big fish for the day but he bought lunch so were even. Home by noon.
Water temp was 55.

No public docks. There is only one launch I know of and it sucks, it's as bad as the parking. Head to the south end from the launch (unless you want to waste you're time Bass fishn' as I did), go under the bridge & drop the Ford Fender, 30-40ft off shore & down & around, all big fish were hit before the turn .We hit em' from the bridge to the end. All were caught trolling a little faster than i'm used too, partly because of the wind but faster than normal. The ultralight rod & 4lb test made it such a blast. Good luck........
