5/2/2010 8:13:00 AMI'm certainly no expert, but that looks very much like a landlocked chinook. Black-gummed mouth, black tips on a rather forked tail, pointy jaws, and of course the very chrome appearance. Regardless, nice picture. I bet it was a hoot to catch!

5/2/2010 4:15:00 PMHey i'm the guy who caught that salmon. Caught two of them actually and released them. I was thinkining that it couldn't be a rainbow due to fact it had black gums. Probably would of caught more, but we were competing in a bass tourney and didn't have time to mess around
