We decided to go hit Omak for the second Saturday in a row. Steelhead is over, Kokanee on Chelan hasn't heated up yet, and Palmer seemed like a long drive. We ended up with 32 fish to the boat, all successfully released in the water. Troll any trolling spoon in the 3-4" range at 1.8-2.4 and you will catch fish. The key is finding which depth they are holding in. Also, when you get hook-ups, immediately troll through the same area again. We had a few triples on; when you find a school get ready for action! Most of the fish were 17-19", with one probably in the 3.5 lb. range for the biggest fish. Remember, single barbless hooks with catch and release required through the end of this month.
