Me and the wife decided we would try our luck at Ohop lake this year. Had some really good days there last year. Hit the lake about 9:30am and fished till about 12:00. started trolling counterclockwise from the boat launch staying about 15 to 25 ft from shore. Started getting nibbles right away but no real bites. Switched to the light green wedding ring with the smalll spinner above it. within a few minutes had one in the boat. smalll but it will do for pan frying. continued counterclockwise around the lake, started getting better bites by the time we hit the upper portion of the lake where it narrows out the gets wider again then it was fish on time nailed about 8 more but had to let the smaller ones go.
will be back to this lake again. think water temp has finally got to about 58 degrees. just a little overcast and not much of a breeze today.
