I finally caught some fish on a body of water listed on this site, so I'm making my first report. A friend of mine just got a boat, and he asked me if I wanted to go hit Ohop and try it out. We got to the launch at about noon and had the boat launched in a jiffy. We started trolling along the weeds at the south end, but kept on snagging the weeds, so we headed up the east shore. I got one big hit, but I was still letting line off my reel and I couldn't close the bail fast enough:) Oh yes, I was using a brown and gold roostertail all day, my friend caught most of his fish on a small perch by Rapala. We finally headed over to the west shore. To make a long story short, we spent the next two hours trolling along the overhanging brush, each catching around four fish at least. To make the story shorter, we spent the next three hours catching fish and tuning up his motor. The final count was nine for me, and seven for my buddy. He probably would have had more like eleven, but his ultra-light couldn't drive the hooks home at 80 feet. Altogether a great day for my first report. Had a GREAT time! ( would have had pictures, but I had the fish in the freezer before I remembered.)

Okay, okay, so I probably should have rated it 3 or 4. The reason I sound like an excited 5-year-old is because I'm really a novice still. Is 15 landed in 4 hours okay? that's my best. I've never been in the bald hills before, maybe I'll check it out sometime.
