Had a great day out on Long Lake. Started off by helping a fellow angler whose boat would not go into gear by taking him back to the launch. Then off for a 20 min ride to Tum Tum area. Started catching fish right away, my hunch was right by getting to Tum Tum water was almost 10 degrees warmer than at launch. Most water we fished was 64-65deg.

Areas holding fish were steep rocky drop offs seemed to be at or very near the bottom in 7-10ft of water. I think we are about 2wks away from this really taking off!

All 3 of us in the boat caught fish today so even though nothing huge I had to give it a 4!! I caught 5 bass and 1 perch. Wife and cousin each caught one. Biggest of the day was a 3lber in pic one and I had the 2lber in pic 2. Pretty good fishing for only about 2hrs, I think had we been able to stay past dinner time we would have caught a bunch more.
