Is this lake electric motors only. I have both just wondering. Thinking about heading down for memorial weekend

I think it is, but I did not even see an electric motor. I saw many row boats and some canoes. Also some float tubes when I was there.

I have been going to this lake off and on since i was a kid and from what i have seen in the past 10 years or so you can only use rowboats with electric or gas, with the gas motors though you can only go 5MPH or lol trolling speed, other boats are like canoes kayaks paddle boats ect... I also do know when you go straight out from the dock go to the lilly pads and start trolling towards the old folks trailer park at the other end of the lake staying at least 100 or better feet from shore you will have some large trout take your pole down, i use a wedding ring of any color it doesnt matter and toss a piece of night crawler on there and you will be in for a fight. I do know you are not allowed to launch a boat that uses a trailer cause your not supposed to back the trailer tire over the log that is in the water by the dock, i hope this info helps a lil.

The only rule that Deep Lake has that is different from any of the other lakes in the Sun Lakes chain is the 5mph speed limit. (NO WAKE) for the entire lake. You can call the Sun Lakes state park direct line at 509-632-5583 to verify should you doubt what I'm posting. If you can fit your boat on the launch you can launch it and it's a nice sized launch by the way. (No such thing as any trailer restriction) I'll be heading that way soon to partake in the newly planted kokanee action.

That's a different Deep Lake Big D. This one is in Thurston County at Millersylvania State Park. It's not near Sun Lakes.
