Took my daughter this morning for some fishing off the dock. Got there about 7:30am and lake was very quiet. We pretty much had it to ourselves for the next hour or so. It rained some and she got some good bites but caught nothing (she's 4, and its hard for her to keep them tight...). Most of the action was near the lake surface, got nothing bottom fishing. Most of the bites were off of sherbet powerbait under salmon eggs. Would have been a great morning for fly fishing...

On another note: we love those of you who take care of your fishing area and tackle! For those of you who don't, shame on you. We picked up two grocery bags worth of garbage between the dock and the bathroom!! I guess the only good part about the losers who litter, is that I was able to pick up some new tackle for my box! I am just waiting to go down there one morning and find a heron or something strangling to death on some jerk's fishing line. Please respect the environment, the wildlife, and the other sportsmen!
