After fishing Clear Lake for a while with slow action, me and my cousin decided to head down to Silver Lake. Man, was it a good desicion!! Fish were hitting practically everything we threw out to them! I mostly used a green rooster tail with a golden spoon. Seemed like every other cast I was pulling them out. My cosuin was having the same luck. We mostly fished topwater from the boat. But we also caught a few trolling and even bottom fishing. Although most fish were small stockers we pulled in about 6 14" bow's. Action started slowing down towards the early evening. I left about 5:30pm. My cosuin took off about 8pm. Overall a great day for trout...I lost count of how many we caught but my cosuin says we caught at least 30 between the two of us!
