Fished all over, threw jigs, senkos, t-rigged worms, crankbaits out to 15', spinnerbaits, buzzbaits (when it rained), rubber frogs, swimbaits and floating rapalas...nothing but small fish taps! Saw a total of 7 males milling around in about 2' of water but the only blow up I had was on a rubber mouse in the se corner in the thick pads by the beaver dam. Fished everywhere twice and rotated threw 3 different colors on all baits... Maybe getting close to spawn, but I only saw one bass that could have been a female?? No fresh beds either?
The trout were going nuts though! Big ones too! Hooked and lost one on a gold kastmaster. Started off sunny, then changed to off and on downpours with a few thunder claps towards the end of the day, that was nice. Water temps were 60-63* and there was no algae, just alot of cottonwood floating around in the water.
Oh well, that's why I keep bass fishing, 25+ years and still learning;) Love it!
