Started off this morning to go to silver (pierce), but it was raining to hard. So somehow my girlfriend and i end up at mineral. It was a really nice morning til round 11am or so when the wind picked up and the dark clouds started to show. We fished the resort dock today. She used a bobber and worm all morning and got 3 rainbows and 2 browns, one of the 'bows was really nice bout 16 inches. I started on the bottom and got 2 fish with corn powerbait with some shrimp oil on it the biggest was a lil over 2lbs when i weighed him. Got a bunch of others fishing a woolly bugger jig (that i tied) about 4 feet under a small bobber tipped with a white crappie nibble. Probly released 6 or 7 fish that way and got three average sized ones i decided to bonk. Wasn't too bad of a day, the bite came and went. Saw a ton of fishing rolling or just flat out flying out of the water. Was nice to get out and do some fishing with the boss for a change.
