i went to test out my new boat today launched by 9 and around the the middle of the lake found the was filling with ater fast so went back and loaded up to find the plug was put in backwards then i went back out with no problems and trolled till 4 with no bites at all

i think we all have done that at least once. I was fishing my first tournament and i looked back and my tackle box was floating. i have not forgot to put it in since.

Nice. I did that just a few weeks ago at LK stevens got in a hury with people waiting to put in. Im sure it will happen again. Casidy is hard to troll. Ive only had luck with dick nights silver/chartruse small/med sideds. I do my best with worms or power bait.

I like to troll a small grub on a 1/16 oz lead head. Depth can be adjusted by varying speed.
It's legal to use 2 poles at Cassidy (if you paid the extra $$), so your best bet for finding fish would be a combo of casting & slow-trolling.
More good choices for trolling:
1) Small floating rapalas (perch)
2) Wooly bugger flies (black)
