Fished from 6-2 to 6-7 over at Banks w/ Snohobassguy. Spent the majority of the time bass fishing and a couple of mornings out for walleye in the punch bowl. First time over there with the new boat so we searched new water the majority of the time. Water temps in the main lake were 54-56, the punchbowl was pushing 60, and many of the shallow bays were near 70. Smallies were pre-spawn to spawn depending on where on the lake you were at. Saw a few largemouth shallow in the back bays. Found smallies from 1' of water to the deepest fish coming out of 33'. Average fish was right around 2lbs, with a few close to 3. Only caught 1 largemouth the whole trip but it was the biggest fish...right around 3lb. Threw plastics the majority of the time, w/ every color producing. Plenty of fish everyday...20-30+. Bottom bounced for walleye for a few hours and picked up 8 total. Most were right in the 15-18" range, w/ the largest at 22". Picked up fish right around 22-28', any shallower and we were into the perch. Good trip, boat ran great, lots of hungry fish, poor weather. It was either 60 and pouring rain/lightning or 75 and sunny. Spent half of the trip in my waders and rain gear, and the other half in shorts and tee shirts.
