Dont know if it was wild or what since it had two egg sacks in it and very pink meat. Ended the day with that one kept and 11 others released. great day and great lake. I have been concerned about the use of artificial bait and releasing the fish. The fish swallow the bait so deep it is difficult to release the fish without doing so much damage that the fish dies. We need to remember the 2 fish over 14" limit on many lakes. Wildcat Lake is one of them.

Yikes 'Ol Grey Dog...I read Rippasher's report as (1) 4 pounder caught and kept...and (11) others caught and released.

Question since I am new to the area...does catching and then releasing fish caught using "bait" (artificial or natural) count towards your daily limit of 5?
