It was another great day on Silver. Launched at 8:00 and headed for the island at the other end of the lake. No other boats in sight.Started throwing a tiger pattern green,yellow popper and on the forth cast the water exploded as this baby rolled and showed it's white belly and then headed for the bottom. It ran under the boat and dam near jerked the rod out of my hand. Faught for what semed for ever. Finally boated it and it ran just over 5#. Spent the next few hours in the area and picked up 4 more between 1.5 to 3#. Started working my way back along the east shoreline and managed to pick up two more. Headed back to the launch at 2:00.
To many hot rodders and party boats. All in all a great day for fishing. All fish were released in good shape. Sorry no picks.Next time.
