We are having great early winter fishing on both Lake Chelan and Rufus Woods.
Lake Chelan continues to pump out 2 to 6 pound lakers with some bigger fish on Mack Bar and in the lower basin. Pull plugs within 10' of the bottom in depths of 100' to 250'.
Rufus Woods is becoming very consistent producing triploided rainbow trout and jumbo kokanee. Pull a baited fly behind a dodger near the deadline above the dam from 5' to 15' down. Set your gear back at least 100'.
If you are celebrating the holidays in the Lake Chelan area and want to bank fish, Roses Lake will provide a combination of holdover rainbows to 18" and recent 9" to 11" plants. Lake Chelan can produce some nice holdover Cutts and bows from the Mill Bay Boat Launch. Rufus has some great bank spots near the dam.
