Back on the lake that I caught my German brown. But this time it is different. My uncle took me out on the boat. I dropped a size K-4 kwik fish that I found in my tackle. I trolled out of the cove with a huge bite. I fought it for 20 seconds but it got off "I let my rod down" so about 5 minutes later my uncle hooked up with a 14 inch rainbow using a hot shot 45 tugs down. landed that and didn't have a fish for about 30 min. Then I started messing around with my depths. I unbailed my reel and let the line fly. I am guessing it was around 80-120 feet down and that's where I picked up my limit, the color of the kwik fish was olive green with yellow and black dots and the hot shots where green and yellow.

Keep your rod up when your in the boat with a fish on.
Also the dock is a great place for kids to learn how to fish and it is a great time. Your kids do not even need to cast to pick up 13-17 inch trout just drop worms off of the dock and have a good time. I also want to acknowledge the owner of the cove Scott West for running the bait shop and giving tips to me for fishing.

Thanks Scott,
A young fishermen
