We started out at around 7 am with a breeze on the lake. I picked up an olive green wooly Bugger from the store and decided to give it a try. I used lead core line and drifted but had no luck. I then tried a live sculpin behind a flasher but that didn't produce. Meanwhile my two partners had stacked up four rainbows and a couple sculpins over the last hour and a half. The breeze was now a strong wind so I gave up fishing for the big ones and we laid anchor to bottom fish. Over the next hour we got tired of catching sculpins. So we darted up to the calm side of the lake and drifted about three times. I got out my wedding ring and we had 15 rainbows within the next half hour. This lake seems to produce in the late morning.

I really would like to catch one of the big browns. I saw schools of 3 - 5 inchers near the cove. A man walking the dock said they were brown trout and that they had stocked 350,000 browns last Friday
