I caught a few bass this morning, maybe 15. On lake at 4:15 am, off lake at 10:15 am. LOTS of small Largemouth and 1 small Smallmouth. 2 large Smallmouth and no large Largemouth. Biggest was 2 lbs 15 oz Smallie. Everything on a crankbait. One rainbow about 16" length in SHALLOW water on the crank at about 9:30am. Sawyer of course. Seems LOTS of rainbow shallow this year on both Sawyer and Meridian. Water temp started at 65, couple spots up to 66 by the time I left.

Na, this fishie has a float attached to get it out of the livewell easier. None of the other pictures do. lol And no pistol to 'convince' the fish to get in the boat. LOL

I've been catching too many large Smallies lately, so called this fish a Smallie instead of a Largie. It's a Largemouth. :-)

AMX you are the Sawyer man, sounds like you had a great AM. I did not fish today had a meeting. I did fish last night and caught 2 fish from 7:30 to 8:45. 1 dink and 1 3.68Lb smallmouth on a perch speedtrap off of the skinny poin at 8:30. I am doing something wrong though I can't catch the numbers.

Nope, didn't eat it. Had the float on it in the livewell so it would be easier to get back out. I wanted to show the fish to a person up the lake.
