Fished Moses from 0830 hours to 1130 hours. Started with a crayfish crank bait in the color brown with zero results. Switched to a Rapala jointed Perch crank bait. Started getting lots of hits but no hook ups. Finally was able to bring in a fish at a whoppin 6." Thats why I wasn't getting any hook ups. Switched to a Storm soft pastic bait (dont know the name) Ended hooking up several more of those 6" bass then out of know where hooked up a 3.5lb small mouth. I had actually casted then set my rod down for five seconds to do something. Picked up my rod and thought, damn it's stuck the zip went the drag. After landing the small mouth I landed a 15" Walleye not to far from where I caught the 3.5lb smallmouth. After landing the Walleye we called it a day and headed in.

Didn't catch alot of fish but had a ton of fun. After I got the 3.5lb Smallmouth I was happy. But then bringing in the Walleye was a huge bonus. The bass were all released but the Walleye was kept for dinner. yummmy.
