Got to the lake around 0700, with the wife and kid. We targeted smallmouth early getting a few 1-2 lb'ers on dropshot and grubs, missed a big one on a tube, got excited when i saw it hit and jerked the tube out of its mouth. We started throwing grubs on ultra lights for rockbass or what ever would hit at about 0930. I lost count on how many we caught, both of rocks and undersized smallies. They really enjoyed attacking white w/ black jig head and brown/green tail on black jig head. We fished the west side on the lake all morning, left around 1200. The daughter is getting better with her casting and hook sets. Good day on the water, enjoying some time with the family.

P.S. To the distiguished gentleman who's dock I landed one of my dropshots on, again I apologize, as I did when you came down to the water, it was not intentional, however, your reaction, with my child in the boat was uncalled for. You may own the dock, but not the water.
