First time on Kapowsin. It reminded me of a lake i used to fish in the south lake fork. Well my opinion is we have 10 plus in this lake. Just cant get to all the fish with this much cover and there are trout in the lake so it all adds up. My take for the day was numerous small fish but boated 3.75 and a 6.6 or depending on when we weighed her she was 7.4. My wife and i together would have boated about 17 pounds had there been money on the line. My favorite lake. Would anyone be interested in a working mans thursday tournament from 6-9? 30 bucks a team. pay first and second if we have ten teams and big bass. We could meet at the public marina at kapowsin.

Your gonna skunk everyone cause you`ve had the best report this year from what I`ve heard and seen. Fish must be in summer pattern time to hit it. Thanks for the report.

Working mans tourney-- the state really frowns on unregistered tournaments and really really really frowns on tournaments with money prizes. Better check the regs before organizing any contests in Washington State. Just an FYI.

you definitely will need a permit to hold any kind of tourney plus you have to have livewells to keep the fish alive to weigh them and then released, plus you can only have 1 fish over 17 inches in your possession without the permit . FYI

Certainly some toads cruising around in Kapow. I have Jeff's pic on my report(see previous Kapowsin report)
Its a cellphone shot,so the quality sucks but it was a gorgeous fish. I think it may have gone more than 6.6,the scale was having issues with low batteries. I went inside the baitshop and saw photos of much smaller fish on the wall that stated weights
of 6.5,7 pounds etc. Eitherway, its hell of a fish and congrats. It was good meeting you and I'm sure we'll meet up on the water again soon.
