It was another great morning on Chelan. Numbers pretty good, but the excitement of catching double digit landlocked fish is what's made it special the last couple of days. We opened up early on the Bar to pick up a couple of nice quality fish (5 and 6 pounds). Then we pulled our gear and ran up to the Yacht Club. They are there and eager to bite. Fishing at 1.2 to 1.6 mph within 5 to 10 feet of the bottom with Purple Glow and Luminous Chartreuse flatfish in F7 and T4 sizes caught our fish. The surprise was that the little F7's off the outrigger rods produced the big fish again. Thanks to Janie Kimball for bringing her dad and daughter with us as well as John Horn for treating his friends to a mornings fishing with Andy. Kimball's big fish was 14 lb 5 oz. Horn's groups big fish was 17 lbs. What a great time of the year to fish Chelan! Anton (Cell - 509-961-5342)
