Invited a friend to go fishing with me, They showed up an hour late. I forgot the battery for my trolling motor so I decided not to cast like I normally do because it was kind of windy and I didnt want to have to fire up the big motor everytime I wanted to move. So once my guest finally arrived I decided to troll. Put on the down riggers and trolled for about an hour and a half without any luck, 20ft down and behind Silcox Island near Bills Boat house. Saw plenty of fish on the finder but no takers. Went back to the docks and continued my 3yr olds bait casting lessons. He's starting to get the hang of it, I cant wait to see him catch something... Right now I'm just letting him use a spinner I figure if I get hit in the head with that it will do less damage than something with a treble hook on it. Going to head back out Monday, this time with my battery maybe I can get another small mouth.
