This was my first time at this lake and didn't know what to expect. When me and my gf got there the place was packed. There were dozens of swimmers and other people on rafts. We managed to launch the boat and manuver around the swimmers. We seen a group of guys trying to take down a tree on the east side of the lake. They were sawing away and managed to chop down the tree and have it land in the water. Before we left there were some guys racing their large r/c boats in the water while other people were trying to fish.
As for the fishing the fishing was slow. I managed to land a couple small bass and have some bites. I was using my favorite 3" black senko. There were some other people fishing there on a boat and they caught some trout. This lake looks like it coukl have some big bass with all the structure but i guess they weren't biting today. The first fish i caught i set the hook so hard the little bass came flying out of the water and a little fish came flying out of it's mouth and nearly hit my gf in the head.

Nice job. I use to fish this lake often about 15 years ago when I lived in Port Angeles. Good to see a bass in here. For years it was
all rumors about bass. I plan on making a trip up here soon. Thanks for the report.
