I don't want to be a buzz kill & I think it's okay to keep an occasional Bass for dinner (unlike some Super Die Hard C&R guys) but remember you're only allowed to retain LM Bass under 12" with one LM Bass over 17" per 5 fish daily bag limit. Most 5 pound LM Bass are over 17" & a 3+pounder's could be too, but in any event all LM Bass in the slot (between 12" & 17") must be released. I don't think Newman Lake has any special regulations on LM Bass but i could be wrong, so check em' out & make sure before your next outing. I don't want any fellow sportsman getting fined by WDFW because of a simple misunderstanding. **Keep Fishin' - WK -
