It's really nice having your eldest grandson deckhand for you. He preps the boat and I get to fish. It frees me up for 5 to 15 minutes before customers show up. Today was pretty cool. I got 7 or 8 minutes to toss a 1/6 oz Black Worden Lures Roostertail. I caught a little pikeminnow that became fresh bait for later and 5 smallmouth. The pictured one was over a pound and really put on a show on that ultra light with 4# test. It's a great way for me to get my blood pumping early in the morning.
