A co-worker, now fishing buddy, came over this morning and hooked my boat up to his truck, (since my truck is in the body shop cuz some dude crashed the whole drivers side of it when it was parked at my wifes work! lame) and we were on the water by 5:20am. Launched at the free parking at the south end of the lake. We both had the same set up; as mentioned in the last few reports I have left. I was marking fish 20' down to 40' in 80' to 100' of water. Most fish were caught off the point, over by the V.A. hospital area, in 27' down in 80' of water. We did miss a lot of hook ups, due to them spitting the hook at the boat . All in all, awesome morning on the lake. Both of us with our limits and home by 11. Marinating now and smoked up tomorrow. Good American eats!
