Well got up early in the morning and got everything ready to go fish. Left around 930am and didnt think it would take 2 1/2 hours to get in the water. We launched at shannon creek which was okay. A long trip on a dirt road with just a gravel launch but the parking lot was paved. Tryed for 4 hours switching to everything I could think of even tryed some of my kokanee gear with not even a hit. Got some sun enjoyed the view of mnt Baker and my daughter leaned that her prince pole dosnt float. She had some fun fishing with her plastic crown though. By the time I got out some dacron to make a lanyard it was too late. I thought we would be okay since the one report said the bite picked back up after noon but not today it ended at 930 1000. I think I need to get a canopy for the boat.
