Hit Meridian again today. This time, i went early. Got to the gate right when the guys were opening it. 7AM btw.

This time, I worked mainly the right side, right after the launch. Started the day off with a jointed Rapala, perch pattern. Around and under the docks.

Not a single bite on it. Saw several small perch and LM follow it though.

Pitched a senko under and around the docks. Got lots of nibbles from the little ones.

Then switched to the shallow xrap and started working it. Landed several small LM and a few perch.

This time, I did spot 1 large fish, couldnt tell if it was a SM or LM. Couldnt get a good look at it. I threw everything I had at where I spotted the fish, but it didnt respond.

Spotted 2 other nice size LM swimming around shallow. Had one of them chase my worm, but swam off soon afterwards.

Now I know where 3 nice size bass are, so hopefully next time.

PS, a lot of people out on the lake today for the time of day. Left at a little after 11.
