Set out on Rock at about 8:30. Cool but beautiful day, good stiff breeze that brought in 10" rollers and made keeping the boat on course. Got downrigger to drop lines to deapth. Was trolling pinkish sparkling flys with worm, rainbows were on them all day long. All about 14-19" fat and if I wasn't packed in the fridge would have kept them. 13-16 fish caught on fly.
We really set out of the brownie in the lake and were disappointed to find they all were in the 140-300 foot pockets of water. This was disappointing cause the downrigger only goes to 100' meaning this bad boys did not even know we were around.
Got off the lake at twilight and fishing stopped abruptedly around 6pm.
Overall great day and good fun.
