Well the wife and I decided to go out to our favorite lake, Offut. We got out there around 11 and rented a boat. The dock was open this weekend so we took advantage of the chance. The boat was 20 bucks for 4 hours, I think it was a decent price.

We left the dock and stared trolling, I had no idea where the good spots where. Before I could even tie my wedding ring on my wife had her frist trout, a small guy. We started trolling the point to the right of the dock where there was some very nice houses and caught about 4 more including a few small bass. We hooked up with a ton more but alot of them thew the hook, I guess thats what you get when you use barbless hooks. We pushed out alittle more towards the lilly pads and I caught the biggest one of the day, about 18 in. We went out to the middle of the lake and the bite wasnt as hot, but when we hooked up they where bigger. We limited out in about 2 hours and just crused around, Heck I payed for 4 hours im gonna get 4 hours. Only 2 fish where kept, and man they tasted good. When we went back to the dock there was a kid who caught the BIGGEST trout Ive ever seen. He said he got it with powereggs on the bottom.
