Wanted to hit Ohop one last time before it closed, as well as try out my new boat, so I waited for the sun, then headed out. My brother and I got to the dock at about 9:10, but it took half an hour to get fishing. I primarily fish for trout, so I started out by trolling. Nothing. Snagged some hard-fighting weeds and sticks, but I don't know how to cook those. After trolling all around the lower half of the lake, I switched to bass fishing. The water was only 53 degrees for most of the day, and topwater was totally not working. I switched to a white spinnerbait, just as we were drifting by the grassy bank by the road. I cast to a small inlet, started to reel, then bam! Finally fish on. After a few moments of excitement, a 3 pound 17'' LMB came to hand. Took the pic, then released it. After that...nothingnadazerozilch. Left at 1:30.

My mom has a great recipe for stick soup, but the sticks are pretzels. The seaweed is seeweed, go figure. Thanks for the report!
