Got a late start but managed to get out to the lake about 1:30. Went out from public launch and met another fisherman coming back to parking lot. Asked him how he did and he said he have fished for 4 hours with one fish. It was difficult walking out on lake since the traveled areas were slick ice with deep foot prints from the frozen slush. If you walked on the untreaded area, you have to walk through slush. Due to the poor hiking conditions, I only went out a short distance and found a couple of holes that were probably drilled this morning. I decided to just redrill through these holes to save some time.
Had no bites for first half hour or so but then started to get consistent bites. Ended up with a grass pickerel, 14 perch, one crappie, three bass and 5 sunnies. All were dinks except one perch. Let them all go back in the hole except for the pickerel which I left out for the eagles. Had a lot of fun. The sun was out and there was no wind. The only problem was keeping the hole ice free.
Gonna have to try it again.

Nice selection; Looks like you caught just about everything Eloika offers. Not bad for a few hours fishing.
