1/3/2011 9:31:00 PMLOL,,, I tossed them on the ice and even the birds, crows, wouldn't haul them away, the birds did stop on down to look at them. 3-4 inches and eatin my bait.... LOL kept the rod a bouncin!

1/3/2011 11:50:00 PMOh, 3-4 inches? Wow.... I guess they're pretty small then. Wonder why they aren't bigger; I'd expect catfish to get big pretty fast.

The ones I caught were the freshwater sculpin type of bullhead,,,,,, related to the cabezon, red irish lords,,,,, growing up, if it had whiskers = catfish, even those black ones that like to bite really well after dark. didn't know some cats are bullhead too!

1/4/2011 7:34:00 PMLOL Catholic school here as well, sorry for the confusion,,, LOL them squawfish look like a whitefish with a trout like mouth though nothing like a catfish/bullhead/sculpin,,, LOL I'll have to drop the bullhead name since it can mean a black cat or a sculpin....... LMAO too funny! now its also called a rockfish, damn I'm confused.... thought rockfish were more like quillbacks, seabass, coppers, and something akin to a small mouth bass,,,,, LOL I love it! Thanks for the humor!...... I caught lots of 3" sculpin at Fish Lake :)

1/5/2011 3:00:00 PMThey are definitely sculpin. Hooked on a 2 ounce jig while still frozen, I'm told the burbot and lakers in Lake Chelan love those things.
