Another Outstanding day on the Water!!!!I had Dave Latimer from Seattle and John Palmatier from Alaska on the boat today and we had another banner day with boating a total of 20 Laketrout in 4 hrs.
John mentioned to me that he will be shipping his fish home to Alaska..Thought that was funny because usually you are shipping your catch from Alaska not to Alaska!!!!!
Trolled the Trench again today using the Ace Hi-Fly.. I had to vary my speeds today with a 10 mph wind and the wind Chill Factor at 8 degrees..Colder than Cold but well rewarded with a great a Laketrout Bite...Tight lines to all and good luck...

That looks COLD, Way to go. That kind of action helps keep the chills away.

fishing with you must be better than going to Alaska, if Alaskan's are coming this way to fish! Nice catch!

Hi Joe, do you mind sharing what type of rods and reels you prefer to use. What about line on the reels? Oh, while I am asking q's, do you use wire or braided line on your riggers........downriggers that is!

I use G loomis rods 8ft 6.....Reels I like the Shimano Tekota LC 500..I use Power Pro 30lb. Braid on my Reels and I use Power Pro 250lb. Test Power Pro Braid on my Downriggers..The Scotty Electric Downriggers is my Downrigger of Choice because of Durability..
Anybody that has other questions feel free to ask...
