Was nice to get out to Sammamish today, got tired of reading everyone else’s reports...haha.
started trolling around weather station area about 8:30 with a needle fish tied on my fly rod and had a monster hit while letting out my line, and one more hit about 15 min later, then nothing...
I went up to the far north end at around 10. caught and released a small 6” cut, lost a nice cut at the boat, then snagged and lost my needlefish on something in 40' of water dam.
Broke out a homemade wedding ring style double whammy thingy, orange/glow/silver, piece of worm and the fight was on! had about 5 hits, caught and released 2 cutthroat and 1 female 15" steelhead! what a fighter!
sun came out and wind died down, felt like spring for about 30 min!
Ive got to get my 2 year old phone replaced, camera gave up.
