Hit RW around 09:30. Headed up lake to Pump #1 area. Cast jigs and spoons, and caught a small native rainbow (c&r). Headed on up to the lower most pens. Fished there for 2 hours without a single bite, Then worked the shoreline down for 1/4 mile or so. A couple bites, but no takers. We used a variety of lures/colors all to no avail. There were 2 boats trolling, and 2 boats plunking, along with two people fishing off the pen system. No bites that I heard about. Headed back down and hit a few more spots, and was able to hook a fish in the cabin hole, but long release on it. Across from Pump #3, Cindy finally hooked into another small native RB. All in all, it was a slow day as we only had around 6-8 hits in 6 hours of fishing. Beautiful day with temps climbing into the 40 degree mark with eagles and deer for entertainment, and water temp was running 37- or so. The current is still running pretty fast too. Maybe next time there will be pics. Tight lines all.
