Started the day at Kapowsin but noticed a small amount of water in the boat and started resealing. Still wanting to get some time in the water,decided to try Alder,I was out here yesterday with the family and liked the water level,not quite full pool but close. I just went with two rods and two baits. Basically I was forcing myself to use jigs and Texas rigged Senko's.
Not much luck,I thought I had a bite on the jig but I'm fairly certain that I was just hitting things on the bottom. Still a good trip,at least learning more patience with plastics.
Water has a few feet to go before full pool but boat launces look pretty good at the main Tacoma Power campground(Alder Lake Park) and Rocky Point.
Spoke with a few other anglers,no luck with them either today
