Got to Bitter lake around 6pm this evening. The water was calm at first but light wind would pop in every now and then. Fished a nymph again on a floating line from shore. Saw several risers so I casted to them. Most didn't take it except two. Here's a picture of one that was about 8 inches. The rain started really coming down, as did the wind, shortly after the photo was taken. Kinda relaxing though to hear the sound of rain on the water.:) Sorry for the bluriness. The little guy was pretty squirmy and anxious to get back in the water. Good luck guys!

Lord of the Fly, good to see you moving beyond Green lake. (although Green lake is great) If you ever think of bass fishing via the fly rod, get out on Bitter and Haller after it warms, like late May or June.

Thanks Quadfather. Yes, I'm moving up in the fishing world. I'll keep those places in mind. I'd like to try Lake Washington as well since that produced bass pretty well last year with spinning gear. Thanks for the tip!
