Fun day. Fished from about 9am-2pm with power eggs and rooster tails, mainly rooster tails for me cause I get bored easily just watching and waiting for a bite with power eggs. Between my dad, my uncle, and I we got 14 planted rainbows. I got 4 with a pink and white rooster tail. Tried fly fishing for them too with a black wooly bugger, but didn't get any with that and ended up being good practice for casting. Some other people came and fished with power eggs and their bite was more consistent due to they were casting farther and all we brought was our ultra light gear, so if you want a more consistent bite bring something you can cast farther with. Still had fun. Sorry no pictures, there just planters. So no biggie, plus some of them are in my belly already

Nice job man! Seeing all the guys with the bait and spinners catch so many fish tempts me to put the fly rod down for a while and just catch fish...oh well. Thanks for the report!

Hey no problem man. Once I find out what kind of flies work better I will be doing more fly fishing because I do enjoy fly fishing more when I am actually catching fish. I definitely will be trying for those pinks this year with a fly rod cause I haven't caught anything of much size with a fly rod yet.
