Wow, beyond my expectations. I had my first fish within 30 seconds. I had my second withing 2 minutes of fishing. We went to sprague the week before and were skunked. This was our redemption. All fish that were landed were beyond 18 inches. Had one on for about a minute that bent my rod in half, almost spooled me when it broke the line. I have caught alot of big trout, but this one that ran the drag out had to be atleast 24-26 inches minimum. It broke 6 lb test (not a knot) without me horsing at all. My biggest landed one today was close to 20 inches and did not compare to the one that broke my line in fight. Several got off due to barbless. I had another one that flew about 6 feet out of the water that threw the hook soon after and it looked like a huge one. Overall one of my best days at coffeepot. I am not going to share my patterns or location but its a small lake that is not very hard to read. I held the fish close to my body for the pics so its size is accurate to me. This was a day on Coffee pot I will not forget. Alot of fish caught. Talked to some other people at the launch and they were not as lucky. Rember tight lines, and think natural for your patterns.

FYI we got into a place in the lake were the fish finder turned black with fish. That is where I hooked the big one that broke my line, and caught many others.

I miss that lake, it's as though those fish are possessed! They go absolutely nuts when you put a hook in em! Oh, come on.....what good is a fishing report without lure or pattern types??!!

Ok, I will give up. Think perch and you should be good to go. Atleast this was the ticket last saturday.

Ok, I will give up. Think perch and you should be good to go. Atleast this was the ticket last saturday. They are demonic when hooked, you lose atleast half with single barbless.
