Today I wasn't "sworn to secrecy", so I don't have to post this report in the "Secret Lakes" section... Finally had a chance to try this little lake today with my best friend. We took his 12' Jon boat as you have to meander down a channel and go around two bridges to get out to the lake...that was actually fun, reminded me of being a teenager again. That was also the highlight of the day. Got out to the lake and the wind let us have it! My buddy left the motor and battery behind to save weight, so we had to row, that didn't go well due to an oarlock coming unbolted. Tried several baits, but couldn't really work the lake due to the wind. Had no electronics on the boat, so no technical info... Lake has alot of wood structure, runs very shallow and I would imagine it becomes a weedy mess by late Spring/Summer. It's supposed to be full of them though, so we plan on making a return trip.
